Looking for Matthew Grant family of Montgomery County, TN.

Does anyone know who his parents were ??

In 1840 Montgomery Co., TN. there is a Matthew Grant who was neighbors with MRS. Hardy (Martha) Bryan whose daughter married Washington G. Grant and moved to KY.

Washington G. Grant had a brother named William Grant who moved to Holmes County, MS. (William and Washington's parents were Charles Grant & Mary (Polly) Bradshaw of Halifax, Virginia). On the same page of 1840 census includes other children of Charles & Mary. I am trying to find out anything/everything about this Matthew Grant who lived near this family.

My Matthew Grant was born in Virginia, moved west through the American frontier, had a son near Lookout Mountain, TN. in Dec 1839, had at least 7 children, and then a final move to PANOLA, TEXAS cir 1849-1855.

Have seen a Matthew Grant in Montgomery, Tennessee Census for 1830, 1840, and the 1841 voters list,
but he is still kind of a mystery person
