I do not research this surname. Just sharing info as a lookup person.

Robert, Your Moses line is Correct from Joshua and Sarah on down, and yes, Joshua's father was Samuel but after that all your information was done by a Bob Moses who passed away a few years back and non of his work was researched or proven,He claimed his grandfather gave him the names. Here is what has been proven: Samuel's father was a John Moses, Samuel had a brother by the name of Joshua, he was in the Rev. war and settled in Ky. he also has a brother John in the Rev. war who settled in GA. Samuel was too your for the Rev. war and the youngest of the brothers. ALL this has been prove through DNA testing of male Moses decents of all three men. To date I have no information beond the John Moses whome was in N.C. he was In S.C. when his children were small. I hope this information is helpful to you. D.N.A. is a wonderful tool in solving many genealogy questions and gives the best proof when there is no paper trail left to follow. Edith
