I have some limited info on the family of John W. Wilson (1797-1859) and wife Elizabeth Campbell (1802-1870). They lived in Monroe County somewhere near the McMinn County border.
They had 10 children including David (1823), James H.(1824), Elizabeth Jane (1828), Alexander Preston (1831), John M (1832), George Baxter (1834), Robert D. (1836), Sarah E. (1841), Nancy Margaret (1844), Malinda C. (March 10, 1846).
Some of the original family members left Monroe County and relocated to Bradley County. In some cases, I have spouse names. I have some of the Alexander Preston line down to present day - most stayed in Tennessee. I also have some of the George Baxter and Robert D. descendants to present day. Some descendants of this family migrated to Kansas and Oklahoma
