“Kennedy - Jenkins Reunion Held At Citico---The annual Kennedy-Jenkins reunion was held at Citico, July 8. Charles Eulis Kennedy of Maryville presided at the request of John Kennedy of Loudon, Ky, the president.
Geneva Kennedy Hines read the minutes of last year’s reunion in the absence of the secretary, Judy Humphrey. Ben Kennedy led in invocation.
Following the picnic dinner, the men participated in “Charts,” a citified version of horseshoes, and the women chatted about the “good ole days,” showing pictures of children and grandchildren not able to be present. The children present had a good time just “playing around” the old school grounds.
The family of Mr. & Mrs. C.M. Kennedy of Maryville and Covington, Ky, deserve a bouquet of roses…all six children were present, as well as many members of their families.

Paul & Eula Kennedy of Rome, Georgia, were elected president and secretary for the 1973 reunion which will be held July 7, 1973.”
