I am having trouble researching my husband's family. I am looking for any information on: Samuel Robert Atchley, born 19 October 1876 in Meigs, Tennessee. He married Mary Lou Loper in 1912. They had 3 children: Maud Elizabeth, Alice and Robert. Sam's father's name according to family records was Robert and his mother was Sarah E. Powers. I cannot find his parents on any census reports. Samuel died in Placer county, California. If you have any information on these people I would appreciate your help. They seem to have disappeared after 1920 census. I am really stumped on this one.
