I am searching for any information regarding my great-great grandfather, James A. Hughes (Huse). He married Indiana Missouri Forsythe in McNairy County about 1868. They had at least one child, my great grandmother, Rosa.

It has become confusing because some of my great grandmother's personal effects has the spelling of the name as Huse. However, I came across a Bible citation marking James and Indiana's wedding and it was spelled Hughes.

I know nothing of where he comes from although oral family history points to Kentucky.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
