Peggy: Where in NC is Claborn born? Is there any record of a daughter, Malinda Harris, marrying a Charles Kelley (or Kelly) in Alabama? Thanks.

I don't know where Claborn was actually born..the census says NC, he married in Rockingham Co.
His daughter Malinda married Reuben Henry.

I don't see any apparent link between my Nancy Harris and your Claborn Harris, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Andy...do you know who Nancy's parents are? The date of their move is about the time my Claborn & Minerva (settle) Harris moved to McNairy...I know that doesn't prove anything but it could be a clue. There could have been some relation there.
