His children were born in TN and at least one was born in Mt. Pleasant, TN, but could be Mt. Pleasant in Maury or Greene or Henry counties? Charles Clifton HINES, son of Jeff HINES was born April 5, 1887 in Mt. Pleasant and died in Johnson Co., TX in 1964. Other children of Jeff HINES were Mattie, Hattie (twins b.1886), Fred and Etta. Mattie married William Berry Ketchum in Texas. She died in Ft. Worth, TX in 1961.

James Knox Polk Hines (1843-1921) married Mary A. Donaldson in Maury Co., TN. Would you happen to have any info on the Donaldson or Donalson family in Maury Co, TN?

Do you have any documentation that Jeff was child of Pleasant and Sarah Garner Hines? I have seen this a couple of times, but I have seen postings of the Pleasant Hines family several times that do not include Jeff. He is my ggrandfather. He was married to Jalie Talley in Maury County,TN I believe. Their daughter Mattie married my gfather William B. Ketchum in TX. Would love to have ANY information about Jeff Hines or his ancestors, siblings, etc. that lead to the connection to Pleasant Hines.
