Seeking descendents of Moses Thompson, borin in 1792 in Virginia. Shown in the 1850 census of Marion County with his wife Mary, and three children; Philadelphia, George and Andrew. Most of his children were grown and gone by 1850. Other children included Lydia Thompson who married John B. Walker and had Catherine Jane Walker who marrried a Sanders; a son Osborne'Ausborne Thompeon; Catherine Thompson who married a James Martin and moved to Missouri; David L. Thompson who moved to Texas and died in the Civil War; Wilson Thompson; Philadelphia Thompson who married Silas Sanders (often confused with the Philadelphia, daughter of Thomas Thompson); James Thompson who married Francis Marion Harris. Also the George and Andrew listed in the 1850 census and moved to Webster County, Missouri. Most of these Thompson moved to other states. i descend from James Thompson who died between 1850-1860 and his family moved to Sevier County. A few of these Thompson's are uried at the Summerfield Cemetery. Any help appreciated.
