Married 3 Jun 1794 in person Co., NC to Elizabeth Winstead (b.20 Mar 1772 in Northumberland, Virginia). She died 27 Dec 1847 in Jonesboro, Union, Illinois. I believe this was LDS info. Children: Ashborn b.28 Oct 1794 Person Co., NC, d.27 Sep 1878 Person Co., NC, married Jane Balen; Winstead, b 3 Jan 1797 in Person Co., d.11 Jul 1885 in Jonesboro. Married 19 Sep 1824 in Jonesboro to Anna Willard. They had 10 children; James A., b.11 Dec 1798 in Person Co., d 1828 in Montgomery Co., TN. Married Rebecca Kirk in Person Co. 8 Jul 1818 .John, b.8 Jan 1800 in Person Co. d 21 Sep 1861. Married Martha. That's all I have on John.
