UPDATE! I received a copy of my Grandfather's(James Wiley Williams) Social Security Application from the Railroad listing William Preston Williams and Fannie Gower, of Lawrenceburg, TN, as his parents. However, the 1880 Giles County, TN Census showes Wiley Williams as a grandson to William Preston and his 2nd wife, Mary Kelso.
