I need information on Willilam Cottrell. He lived in Lawrence Cty. in l820. He had a son named Thomas Cottrell
born l8l7. He married Mary Ann Shelton in Lauderdale County
Dec. 27.l838. They lived in and around Lauderdale and
Lawrence Counties before moving to Limestone County, Ala,
I need to know any information on any other members of
William's family. I will share any information I have with
anyone who thinks we might be related.

My great grandmother was born in Lawrence, Tenn @ 1845.Her name was Sara Elizabeth Cottrell. She was the daughter of Cottrell and Elizabeth. No first name for the father and no maiden name for the mother. She moved to Limestone, Alabama and married William Russell Lovell. That is where my grandmother was born. I am running into a dead end on the Cottrell family and my great great grandmother's family.
