I am hoping to learn for sure the wife of William C.Ryan as listed on the 1860 census in Lauderdale Co. The marriage license for 1853 shows an Emily SMITH marrying William C.Ryan. I would love to know if Emily is the same person as Euphemia E. SMITH, age 17 on the 1850 census in the home of Joshua M. SMITH. If so, she may be/probably is my Great Grandmother's sister.

I cannot seem to find this family AFTER 1860 in Lauderdale Co., TN.
