I would like to contact any descendants of the Soward family of Lauderdale County, Tennessee, to exchange family history. James Soward who is buried in Elon Cemetery near Halls, Lauderdale County, was a second cousin of my great great grandfather, West Walker Soward. I have found other members of the Lauderdale County Sowards buried in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery and the Love (Old Chapel) Cemetery. I have traced the Soward family back to the immigrant ancestor who arrived in America in 1667 from England and am willing to share information.
