I am related to Charles McClung. My family are the ones who went to Virginia. My 5th Great grandfather is John McClung, who came here from Ireland.From what I have in my research is. William McClung father of Matthew McClung grandfather of Charles McClung 1761-1835 did indeed go to Virginia.I am going by what Rev William McClung wrote in a book called McClung Genealogy. I have found that if I put this in to search it brings up what people have added to the net. William is said to have had two wives but names of both are unknown. I dont know if this has helped..
