There is no evidence that George Edmonds in the 1830 census in Jefferson was in the War of 1812. Yes, he's on the Tax rolls in the early 20s but each of the "precincts" has a Capt. Check with the Jefferson County Archives for further explanation.

Can anyone provide any proof that Brice A. Edmodns who moved to Alabama is the son of George? Thanks for your help.
