Seeking ANY information on the Walters family/families in Jefferson County from 1787 through 1820's:

These Walters included my 4G-Grandfather Absalom Walters, his wife Elizabeth (?), who had children Peter, John, Daniel, Simeon, Alice. These children were all born in Jefferson Conty, TN. and/or Madison County, AL.

Especially need information on Absalom Walters and Absalom's parents - not sure if they are, but have strong evidence - they were John Walters and Sarah Sively Walters who Were still in Jefferson Co. in early 1800's. Jacob Sively family records discuss brothers Thomas and John Walters, along with their wives (Elizabeth and Sarah Sively) and two Sively brothers - Jacob Sively and ? Sively, moving together to Jefferson County, Tennessee from Shenandoh Co., VA in the late 1780’s. Thomas's family continued to Alabama, where Thomas passed away. Scant records show Absalom may have also gone to AL but returned to Jefferson Co. My brickwall is not having marriage information for Absalom and Elizabeth or the births of their children.
