He's indexed as Theodus Edmons on the State site.

The old Vital Records book at McClung Library in Knoxville says his father was Bill Edmons born VA, (though ALL his censuses say TN), and mother is listed as Rhoda Chambers born TN.

I'm looking for the informant who has his mother wrong also. I can't even figure out where they got the Chambers from. I can't find a marriage for a Rhoda Chambers to a Vance and Wm. Edmonds married Rhoda Vance in 1850. She was 30 at the marriage and might have been married previously but I can't find it.

Phillip Walker found Veterans Pension records for Mary Edmonds (Samples) and Wm had made a deposition that he was Mary's HALF-brother. Since Theodrick was older then Wm. and was born around 1845, I'm just guessing that Rhoda isn't his mother either, nor Marthena's.
