I am trying to help a descendant of the Sevier-Guilford marriage with her ancestry. The marriage took place ca. 100 years ago, and was in the Sevierville area, maybe in a surrounding county. A Sevier with the first name John may have been the groom. The Guilford female's first name has been lost with other information. Guilford may have actually become Gilford at some point.
