Hi everyone, I am looking for information about Joseph Newman possibly born in late 1700's...He might have been the father of my ggggrandmother, Margaret Sally Newman who married Joab Blackwell in Jefferson Co. in 1832...Margaret died aft. 1850, and Joab remarried in 1860's...My suspicions that Joseph might have been her father come from a court document where Joab Blackwell sued the heirs of Joseph Newman. It didn't state the reason why, just that it was a general court docket...If anyone has any information about this, or about Joseph Newman in this general time frame, I would great appreciate it...
