Someone PLEASE correct me if I'm mixing up my Phalby's.
There's a marriage listed for George J. EDMONDS to Falba E. HALL 9 Aug 1838. We believe this is Jackson EDMONDS (assumed son of John EDMONDS and Fanny <UNK>. Jackson's grandfather's name is assumed to be George married to Ellender "Nelley" <FILLIS>) . We believe Jackson and Phalby had a daughter named Jane but who is the Mary who shows up on the 1850 and 1860 census? I need help with that one.
Falby m2 Thomas MOORE (indexed as Fallea) on 30 Dec 1849.
1850 census:
MOORE, Thomas 30
Falby 30
Jane 9 (she married John MANNING 13 DEC 1857)
Mary 6
1860 census:
indexed on Ancestry as "Phaltz MOORE" living NEXT DOOR TO JOHN MANNING AND HIS WIFE "J"
Phaltz is 42
M 13
MA 8 (or 18. It's all one line)
E 1
Phalby m3 Vineyard BRIMER 7 Jan 1861
1870
Vineyard (male) is indexed as "Margaret BRONER" (female), age 78, and
Phalby is indexed as "Phahalba BRONER" age 52
Martha 19
Edy 11
James A 6
John KING 18
HALL, Edy 80 born in NC (don't know if this is Phalby's mother, aunt, cousin, etc.)
In the 1880 census all normal spelling.
1900
indexed on ancestry as Fallie BRIMER but it says Falbie on the sheet. Says her mother was born in TN. Maybe they changed the state line again.
Any help on Phalby's parents and confirmation/rebuttal of her possible marriage to Thomas MOORE would be appreciated.
