Frederick MAYBERRY, Sr. listed his survivng children in his 1801 Bedford Co., VA. will. One of them was John. What little information I've found for John says that he was born ca. 1761 in Bedford Co., VA., married Mary Anne POSEY/POESEY/PURSEY, and they had children -- Jesse born ca. 1813, and Jacob born ca. 1820.

What I have found regarding the death of John says that he died ca. 1834 in Hickman Co., TN. There is a John MAYBERRY in the 1820 census of Hickman Co., TN., but not in the 1830 census.

Since John is said to have been born ca. 1761, he and any spouse are likely to have had more children than just the two listed as born ca. 1813, and ca. 1820. I would very much like to find out who any children of John MAYBERRY were.

If anyone has any information at all about this MAYBERRY family line I would so very much appreciate hearing of it.
