James Burns (or Burnes) Wright was born 24 May 1811 in NC. Susan A. Taylor was born 19 Oct 1819 in TN. Her father was Ellis Taylor. Ellis Taylor had four daughters, Sarah, Mildred Helen born 1816, Susan A. and Mariah E. born 1852.

The Wrights and Taylors migrated to Todd Co. KY.
