There seem to be a lot of Ryland Roberts. The one w are related to was bor n in Halafax VA.
According to census records he was born ca 1760-62. He lived in Randolph Co N.C. apparently
about the the time Willliam & Sarah Roberts moved there He seems to be related to that family.
William died in the late 1700's He left o will. Ryland moved to Newberry, Co SC by 1830. He died in 1834 leaving a will l namiig his childen - sons James, William & Hamon Whowa y husband's
great grandfather. Hamon had 4 daughters - Louisa Susannah (Susan); Mary Frances (Frankie);
Delilah Zillah Ann' Jane B; and one son Moses Barto.art was my husband's granfather. Bart & his wife, Sallie Cole, had 13 living children. I have documented all this so far. I'm not sure who Ryland' father was.It's possible William' son James was but he was not named in Jame's will.
When Jame sold some of William's propetry Ryland signed 3 deeds as a witness & on two signed as Jurat.
