A new post re Taylor Hill and wife Martha. two seperate death certificates of Taylor and Martha's children give Martha's name as Moore. There are two Moore families living in the Cub Creek area of Henderson Co. in the 1830s and 1840. A Presley Moore and a Thomas Moore. Presley's children seem to be accounted for in marriages and census. Thomas may be the Thomas Moore who m Elizabeth Williams ca 1805 Chatham Co.NC. One of Thomas and Elizabeth's children m Griffin Dodd per deeds.Thomas Harris married a Moore, I suspect Martha was another daughter who m Taylor Hill. Other sons were Alexander and William who married Elizabeth. Anyone have any comments?
