They both died in Hawkins dunno where buried. 2. Tolliver Housewright no other info, marr Mary Skelton b. 6-20-1810. These 2 Skelton women were the dau's of Alexander Skelton of Hawkins. I am a descendant of Jeconias Housewright and his wife, Sarah "Sally" Skelton. During the late 1850's they made their way to Collin Co., TX, where they died. He on 27 June 1894 and she on 18 March 1899. Jeconias was b. about 1814, probably in Nelson Co., VA. Sarah was born 11 December 1815 in Hawkins Co. Jeconias ("Jick" as he was known) was the son of John Housewright, Sr. and Martha "Patsy" Bouler.

I'm also a descendant of Tolbert Housewright who was born November 12, 1837, and his wife, Sarah Caroline Cook. Tolbert "Tall" was the son of Benjamin Housewright, brother to Jeconias above.

I've searched for years!!! for more information about Sarah Caroline Cook's parentage and for more information about Sarah "Sally" Skelton's mother, Susannah Dollins. Sarah was the child of Alexander Skelton and Susannah Dollin.

Any help will be greatly appreciated and I'll gladly share what I have.

I am looking for information on the Housewrights that moved to Arkansas. I have John B. Smith listed in the 1850 Washington Co., Arkansas census with his wife Eliza, sons Calvin and Richard, and also John Housewright. They are living next to the Wesley Housewright family. John Smith was born 5 September 1817 in Tennessee. I know that the Smith children were born in Hawkins Co., Tennessee and the Housewrights are shown as being born in Virginia and Tennessee. Dose anyone know if John B. Smith married an Eliza Housewright?

Mary (Polly) Skelton married Toliver Housewright and they had a son they named Joseph. Joseph Housewright married Phebe Renfrow and they had my great grandfather Gain Housewright. Gain married Audrie(Addy) and they had Charles. Charles married Clara Campbell and they had Delbert who was my father. My mom was Elsie Mae Hollon. I have more and would be willing to share.

He was born 1813 in virginia and died after 1891 in Hawkins County, tennessee, I have Mary (Polly) born June 20, 1810 in Hawkins County, Tennessee and died unknown. Ahe was the daughter of alexander Skelton and Susannah Dollind. Both Toliver and Jick were sons of John Housewright 1760 in Virginia and married to Martha patsy Bouler/Bowler.
