Looking for parents of Mary Carpenter born about 1884. Family story is that at age 16 she ran away with John Williams (1878-1950)Their son Elisha was born in 1898 in Hancock County. It is believed she died about 1915. Is she the Mary Viola Williams who died in 1914? Any info about the Carpenter family of this time or Mary Viola Williams will be appreciated.
