Surnames: Mullins, Collins, Gibsons, Lawson, Bell and Miser Families
I have death certificate of my gr grandmother Luverna, she married Lee Jesse "Bose" Miser
Born abt 1886 Hancock Co. TN. (death certificate gives app. age as 33) died in 1919 Greene Co. TN. unknown causes. Her Mother is listed as Rebecca Mullins, Father listed as unknown. I have an old family photo of Luverna "Vernie" that is written on the back with her name listed as Louverna "Vernie" Collins. She and my gr grandfather had 8 children at the time of her death, Bose remarried and had 8 more children, 5 are still living, but know nothing of his first wife Rebecca other than she was a Mullins and thought to be daughter of James Mullins , granddaughter of Irish Jim Mullins. Does anyone have any idea who Rebecca married and who Luverna's father is? I have several ties to the melungeon families of Newmans Ridge and other Mullins, Collins, Gibsons, Lawson, Bell and Miser Families and few others. But Luverna's father is still a mystery. Any help appreciated.
