After speaking with a relative, I have found out that my Great Grandmother, Camille Frances Sadler Rutherford, may have been married once prior to John Marion Rutherford. This marriage would have occurred prior to 1903. The story I have been told is that, unfortunately, this man committed suicide. I have searched for documentation on this as the relatives who could verify this story are deceased, but with no luck so far. Camille lived mostly in Chattanooga. I know this is a long shot but, is there anyone out there who may be aware of what actually happened? Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
