ANDREW JACKSON SMITH JR. married TELETE BRANDON May 22, 1875 in Greene county. A.J Smith Jr. was the son of Andrew Jackson Sr. and Martha Jane Deatherage Smith. Andrew J. Jr. was born circa 1840-1850. His siblings were John Brabson Smith, Thomas, Eliza,Agnes, Nancy and Telson Smith. Family legend tells that Andrew Jackson Smith Jr. was found dead beside the road, in Greene County, Dec. 5, 1897. His wife, Telete and her children moved to Jewell county, Kansas soon after his death. I need some help in finding out more about A.J.Smith Jr.'s death. Would like to know if he was murdered, had an accident or died of natural causes.
