William Hix vs David Abernathy
Seth McKinny special bail of the Defendant surrenders him in open court in discharge of himself, whereupon the said David Abernathy is prayed in custody of the Sheriff and oedered in custody of the Sheriff by the court. Justices present, James Moore, Isaiah Midkill, Mathew Campbell, HENRY BOATMAN, George Moody, Wm. Clay, whereupon the Court appoint Edward Clark and Jinny Clark Guardians of Wm. Clark, Joseph Clark, John Clark, and Mary Clark minor heirs of Samuel Clark deceased. And the said Edward Clark and Jinny Clark enter into bond in the sum of twenty-four dollars with Philip Sigler and Andrew McPgeters thier securities for the faithful discharge of thier guardianship.

Ordered by the court that James Davis an orphan now of the age of nine years be bound after the manner of an apprentice to HENRY BOATMAN until he shall attain the age of 21 years and said James Davis is bound by Indenture according to the directions of the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided to the said HENRY BOATMAN.

Ordered by the court that Thomas Henderson be appointed Guardian of Sarah Henderson and May Henderson minor heirs of Wm. Henderson deceased and the said Thomas Henderson together with Henry Howell and James Conn his security enters into bond in the sum of $4000 to Isaiah Midkiff, James Harris and HENRY BOATMAN Justices of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions for the performance of his said Guardianship.
