ROBERT WILLIAMS, b.c. 1795 in N/C and lived and died @1867 in Giles County, TN. He married Julia A. LUCY(1802->1880) from Brunswick Co., VA, who was the daughter of Robert LUCY and Catherine ABERNATHY LUCY from Brunswick Co. VA. The LUCY family probably emigrated around 1822, along with many Huguenots/Methodists led by Aaron V. BROWN. Robert was probably the bother of Thomas H. Williams, whose descendants are numerous in the area. Who was the father of Robert and Thomas WILLIAMS. Was it Isaac WILLIAMS? Was it William WILLIAMS?
Robert WILLIAMS and Julia lived in Giles County, TENNESSEE near Mount Pisgah in a hollow called "Cucumber Hollow", named for a peculiar type of magnolia tree extant in the area. In the current times, that area is just left of I-65, south of where US 64 crosses.

Descendants of these families, and those below, settled in LINCOLN CO., TN. near the Millville/Dellrose areas and in GILES CO., TN , at Bunker Hill and Pisgah. Many of the family are buried at BeeSpring Cemetery, just inside GILES CO., TN.
