I am trying to find where Andrew Bird is buried. He died, per his civil war pension file on
January 7, 1897. He had been living in Fentress County with his wife, Mary Garrett, whom I understand to be buried in the Garrett cemetery. Andrew must not have a stone, because no one his found where he is buried. As a Civil war veteran, he is entitled to a stone. He served in the 12th Kentucky Infantry. He is NOT, repeat, is NOT, the ANDY Byrd buried at Locust Grove Cemetery. That is his brother ANDERSON BYRD. This is causing some confusion for sure.
