Cothran Palmer in Dyer Co., Tennessee

I think I have found my Grandfather in 1900 on the Dyer county Tennessee Census.
Robert Cothran is living with Wiley Palmer and family and listed as Wiley's nephew. This Robert Cothran was born Apr 1878 in Tennessee so this fits with the age of my grandmother Martha Elizabeth Campbell who was born in Tennessee in 1878.
I need help finding more about this family so I can find if he really is my grandfather. He died in 1909 just before my father was born so my father never knew him.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
