Hi Christie,
I'm not sure how I missed your reply, but I just now found it. Thank you. Yes, this is the Dr. Brake family that I would like to find. My reasonfollows, but it's bit convoluted.
My Bone ancestors lived in Woods Valley. My great grandfather William Wallace Bone migrated from there to Clay County Arkansas. Once there, he married a Candace Jeannette Byce/Byas/Buis. She was an orphan living with the family of Jesse Brake, along with her sister Carrie. Jesse Brake was married to a Nancy (unknown maiden name). I would like to find out more about Candace (and Carrie) but have never been able to trace them. She is my brick wall. So I am trying to track her through the Brake family.
I'm just trying to run down the hunch that it is not a coincidence that the Brake family also lived in Dickson County.
Terry
