My ancestor is JOHN DICKSON b. 1818 Coldingham, Berwickshire. Married in Lurgan, Ireland c.1841 an Elisabeth McMurray. I have his life history. What I would really like to learn or confirm is his parentage & the lives of his siblings. I have been given the following names. Father:- GEORGE DICKSON b. c. 1795 Mother:- ELIZABETH M LIDDLE b. c 1796 Siblings:- MARY b. 1816 Coldingham? ROBERT b. 1821 Coldingham? GEORGE b. 1824 Coldingham? & ELSPETH b. 1826 Coldingham? I have tried to link them all re Ancestry but I can't find a thread & can't be certain that I have the right Dickson. There were, it seems, at least two or three Dickson families in or around Coldingham around that time. Can anyone help me to verify any of them? I'd be very grateful.
