While doing some searching for Daniel Wade Thorn and family I run across some information that leads me to believe there were two Thorn families in Dickson County. I know most people associate Daniel with John Thorn. However; I find Ester Thorn living with an Elizabeth Hendrick in the 1850 census and I checked previous records for Elizabeth.

While doing a search on the 1840 census for Elizabeth Hendrick, I find there are two older people living with her. The woman fits the age group of Ester. The man could possibly be William Thorn. Does anyone know about the Hendrick/Hendrin family and is Elizabeth's maiden name Thorn? Does anyone know what happened to her and her family?

Patrick H Madden was bondsman at Daniel's wedding. He is living next to these families in early census records and is either related in some way or was considered a good friend.

There isn't a lot of records available and if anyone knows about these families, it would really help. I have to reconsider that Daniel's father is not John, but William as previously thought with the knowledge I have now.
