Hi,
I have my Coleman line established back to the early 1800's in Dickson. But after 1860 the dissappear til 1881. I am looking for what happenned to William Scott Coleman's Estate between 1860 and 1870 I think that is about when he died. It was a fairly large estate and it seemingly just disappeared. I have spent countless hours at the L&A at Nashville but haven't found anything. I am hoping that there is a will I have missed or Tax records for this time maybe even a deed transfer. Just for reference his first wife's mname was ?? Richardson and they had Thomas Jefferson Richardson Coleman and an unknown daughter. His son Thomas J R Colemanmarried Priscilla Sugg and they had Thomas Jefferson Coleman (1860) Winfield Scott Coleman (1858)and John Morgan Coleman(1863). I can account for all of the years and records with the exception of those between 1861 and 1881.
If I can assist you in anyway or make a contribution please let me know
Thank you
