The following is speculation based on information posted online;
Mary Ann Green b:10 Dec 1845 DeKalb Coo. TN was the daughter of James Mooney Green + Elizabeth Nunn. Mary Ann Green married twice, William Cantrell and "unknown" Mallory. Mary Ann Green died in DeKalb Coo. TN.

Mary A. (could this be the same individual above?) parents unknown, first married "unknown" Cantrell and had one (1) son, William Alexander Cantrell b: abt. 1868. She second married William T. Mallory and had five (5) children:
Lorena Mallory
Ophelia Mallory
James Mallory
Lucian Mallory
George Mallory

She married "unknown" Nunn. He was born Abt. 1780.
"unknown" Nunn and Elizabeth "unknown". They had at least 1 child. (see below)

Generation 2

2. Elizabeth Nunn-2 (Elizabeth "unknown"-1). Her birth Abt. 1820 in Virginia, USA (Shenandoah Valley). She died on 07 Jan 1846 in Warren, Tennessee, USA.

She married James Mooney Green[2]. He was born on 03 Feb 1822 in Tennessee, USA. He died on 23 Sep 1900 in De Kalb, Tennessee, USA.

James Mooney Green and Elizabeth Nunn. They were married on 07 Nov 1839 in Warren, North Carolina, USA[1]. They had at least 4 children:

i. Martha Green
ii. Elias Nunn Green
iii. Sarah Elizabeth Green
iv. Mary Ann Green (see below)

3. Mary Ann Green-3 (Elizabeth Nunn-2, Elizabeth "unknown"-1)[3, 4]. Her birth on 10 Dec 1845 in De Kalb, Tennessee, USA (or Warren, Tennessee). She died on 19 Apr 1907, possibly in DeKalb, Tennessee, USA (Subject to verification). She was also known as Marion. Burial in Graves, Kentucky, USA (Mayfield, Maplewood Cem).

William Cantrell and Mary Ann Green. They were married Bef. 1868. They had at least 1, possibly 2 children.

i. William Alexander Cantrell[3]. He was born 1868.

Notes for William Alexander Cantrell:

when Mary Ann (Green) Cantrell and her second husband, William T. Mallory, came "across the river" from TN and settled in Graves County, KY, that they brought along Mary Ann's young son by her first husband. That child was William Alexander Cantrell, though he is listed in the Graves County, KY 1880 census just as 12-year-old William A. as though he were a "Mallory".


ii. Cecil Cantrell[6]. Possible child - parents not proven.


Mary Ann Green second married William T. Mallory[3]. He was born 1819 in Tennessee, USA. Census 1880 in Graves, Kentucky, USA (Mayfield, Age 58, Carpenter, Tennessee listed as parents' place of birth). His death 1885 or 1895. He was also known as A. Mallery[7]. Burial in Graves, Kentucky, USA (Maplewood Cem, Mayfield).

William T. Mallory and Mary Ann Green. They had 6 children.

Note: In addition to the five (5) children listed above was Johnny Mallory. He was born 1880 and died in infancy. Burial in Graves, Kentucky, USA (Mayfield, Maplewood Cem).

I believe he was William T. Mallory, son of John Mallory born abt 1800 Caswell, NC, USA:

He first married Elizabeth Ann Robertson[2]. Her birth Abt. 1826 in North Carolina, USA (or 1821 in VA). Census 1850 in Montgomery, Tennessee, USA. She was also known as Eliza.
