Surnames: Jennings, Ginnings

My wife is a direct line back to William B. Jennings.
Her father was Bernice Orville Jennings. Bernice's
father was Thomas Didimus Jennings, son of General Lafayette Jennings. I think G.L Jennings was son of William B. There seems to be an interesting convention of naming sons with "Titles" such as Doctor and General.
I would love to know more on the line as you mention that you have more on the William B. decendants.
In this area there are not many males with interest in genealogy. Thank you!!
