i am looking for descendants of the following descendants, mostly, but not limited to, before '1870" TN.:

LEWIS/LOUIS GILLISPIE

LOUIS HAMILTON GILLISPIE

SOPHIA/SOPHY GILLISPIE

SOPHIA ANN GILLISPIE

JOHN WILLIAM GILLISPIE

JAMES GILLISPIE

We have in a old family Bible that all of the above people were dead by the "fall of 1871" EXCEPT James Gillispie and he was taken/sent to Missouri and givin to his half brother, John Henry Johnson.

One other item. i will be visiting Nashville at the end of may and first of June....can anyone tell where i should look for family history and/or documents?(I do not know my way around nashville)
