I am looking for information on a Dekota Thompson born in Tennessee on Feb. 4,1926. Dekota married William Francis Cooper and moved with him to his home state of Massachusetts. Dekota died on August 5, 1977. William and Dekota Cooper had 2 children: William F. and Mary Ann. William and Dekota are my husbands grandparents. I'm looking to learn more about Dekota and her family i.e. parents, grandparents. I've heard she was adopted. But, I have no proof of this. Dakota and William married in TN while he was stationed there with the US Army during World War II. Both of their children were born during their time in Tennessee. After William's Army service ended they moved to Massachusetts.
