Hi I don't know about a Mary Woods but the Slaven's in Scott Co. TN. and McCreary Co. Ky have a line that has Absalom Slaven that married Elizabeth "Betty" J. Woods her father is listed by some as Travis Woods, Go to the Scott Co. website and ask there. Yes the Slaven name is Irish. We have one big Slaven/Slabey/Slavin reunion in June in Ky.
