I cannot say I know a whole lot about Robert Dover except that according to the 1910 census he was born in North Carolina, as were his parents. Your post caught my attention because his second wife, Mary Holt Dawson, is my great-great grandmother (through her first husband, Drury Dawson) and I knew that she had married a second time.
