Looking for information regarding Dock Smith maybe born around 1874-1877. Think he could have been from tenn. area maybe his father James Smith I don't have a birth date or death death on James. Dock was my grandfather and he married Lydia Smith Dock's parents were James Smith? and mother unknown. I don't know any of Dock's family members on his side. Dock and Lydia had lived in Monroe County Ky., around 1900-1920's. They lived at Mt.Hermon Ky. They had several children Wick,Willie,Wesley,Herbert,Carl,Alice,Eliza,Susie which are all deceased. Lydia's side of the family was GET THIS Nancy Hamilton married to Thomas Smith. I don't know if Lydia Smith when she married Dock Smith in 1900 knew if or they were kin?
