I'm looking for any information about my g-g-grandmother, Sophronia BRINKLEY, born c. 1843. She is listed on page 113 of the 1860 Carroll County Census, along with a sizeable number of FORBESS family members. She migrated to Hygiene, CO with the FORBESS families sometime before 1874, possibly as a governess for the children of Seaborn and America FORBESS. She married my g-g-grandfather, Pressly MARTIN, on Sept. 13, 1874. Sophronia died giving birth to (or shortly after) my g-grandmother, Lula MARTIN, Oct. 29, 1879 and is buried in an unmarked grave in the FORBESS family plot in the Hygiene cemetery. Any information about her or the FORBESS families would be gretly appreciated.
