Classification: Query
Surnames: Forbess, Andrews, Anders, Holleman, Holman, Holmun, Cooper, House, Muns, Munns, Martin, Maloy, Molloy
Glad I was of some help.
In my Monroe Co AR research, I constantly came across the F
FORBESS family, sometimes on the same page with my various family lines that lived in and around Brinkley.
Some surnames were: COOPER, HOUSE, HOLMUN (Holleman, etc), ANDREWS (Anders), MUNS or MUNNS, MARTIN, as well as MALOY / MOLLOY. My COOPERs from SC and my ANDREWS / Anders from GA were my primary lines that came to eastern AR St Francis / Monroe Co area starting 1845 for COOPER and 1855 for ANDREWS, called more often Anders in AR. (on 1860 census also as ADAMS)
HOUSE was the married name of my gg grandmother Parthenia ANDREWS in her 1st marriage; HOLMAN was her name in her 2nd marriage, and her last marriage 1876 Brinkley AR was to Dillard L. COOPER. (See 1880 census in Brinkley for a combined household of his / hers and some nephews.)
If you see any links here to your FORBESS line I am interested as I have always wondered if there was a marriage of which I am unaware.
