I am a gr-gr-gr-grandson of Richard Green and Mary Jane and am trying to learn more about them. They were listed in my grandmother's Bible. I see from the census Richard was born in Virginia and would've been of military age for the Civil War. Do you have any info for me? I also hear he was 1/2 Indian.
