re: John Inglish (b.1777 in Virginia?, d.1844 in Missouri) I have records of my ancestor in Campbell County TN from its formation until he left for Missouri around 1815. I also have indication that he was in that area before county formation as I have him in Anderson and Grainger County tax records back to 1799.

There are other Inglish/English in that area around that time, but so far I have not been able to document a connection to the parents of John Inglish nor for his wife Ann Bruton/Burton (b.1776, d.1850)

I am hoping other Campbell County or Inglish/English researchers may have come across anything that can point me to who John's or Ann's parents were.

I have extensive records for John's decendents in Missouri and am willing to share if it will help anyone.
