I too have info showing that my GGGrandmother was the sister of Mary"Polly" Slatton born 1810. Her name was Elizabeth Slatton. b ABT 1807 in TN. daughter of John H.& Mary Slatton. Elizabeth married Robison Orick who was born ABT 1800 in NC. Their 8th son was Russell Orick born ABT 1848 in TN. My ggrandfather. I am showing that this Mary Polly Slatton married Benjamin Greene. She later died in Hugo,Ill. Does any of this sound familiar or are the names and dates just coincidense. Any response will be appreciated. Thanks, Sherman
